Strategy Guide

Overview

Unlike the patient Star or Forge builds, Bombardment goes on the offensive immediately. Bombardment deals damage to all enemies and adds Forge. Meteor Shower hits all enemies multiple times. Gamma Blast combines Stars with direct AoE damage. Knockout Blow provides single-target burst for elites and bosses. This build doesn't wait for engines to assemble — it frontloads damage to end fights quickly. Stars are used for both damage and Forge, making resource management key.

1

Act 1 — Early Game

Cosmic Indifference and Wrought in War provide early AoE damage. Crush Under and Collision Course handle single targets. Photon Cut is a solid early damage card. Falling Star (starter) deals damage + generates Stars. Glow generates Stars for Star-cost attacks. Don't skip Block cards — this build is aggressive but not invincible. Bulwark and Cloak of Stars provide defense between bursts. Look for Bombardment early — it both damages and Forges.

2

Act 2 — Mid Game

Bombardment is the mid-game backbone: AoE damage + Forge for Sovereign Blade. Meteor Shower is devastating against multi-enemy fights. Gamma Blast uses accumulated Stars for burst AoE. Knockout Blow deals 30 base damage and recovers 5 Stars on kill — excellent for finishing wounded enemies and maintaining resources. Kingly Punch and Kingly Kick provide additional damage with utility. Keep Stars flowing with Glow and Gather Light to fuel Star-cost cards.

3

Act 3 — Late Game

Against Act 3 bosses: Bombardment + Sovereign Blade combine Forge scaling with AoE. Meteor Shower with Vulnerable applied (from Begone or Crush Under) devastates. Knockout Blow serves as the single-target finisher. I Am Invincible provides one emergency invincibility turn. The build's weakness is long fights — it lacks the infinite scaling of Forge or Star Burst. End fights quickly or supplement with a few Forge cards for late-game insurance.

First Attack each combat deals +8 damage. Powerful with Bombardment or Knockout Blow as openers.

Good Relics
Vajra
Vajra

+1 Strength amplifies all multi-hit attacks. Multiplicative with Meteor Shower's many hits.

Avoid
Samthalsband
Samthalsband

Burst turns may require 6+ card plays for maximum AoE output.

Snecko-Auge
Snecko-Auge

Randomized costs can make your burst turns unpredictable. The build needs reliable Energy for big attacks.

Stein der Weisen
Stein der Weisen

Enemies gain +1 Strength. Your aggressive build already takes hits — extra enemy damage is dangerous.

Boss Strategy Tips

Guardian

Bombardment during attack phase for direct AoE + Forge. Sovereign Blade with accumulated Forge finishes Guardian. Knockout Blow after dropping Guardian below 30 HP.

Hexaghost

Block Inferno turn 2, then unleash Bombardment + Meteor Shower. The aggressive approach can kill Hexaghost in 4-5 turns before it builds too much pressure.

Slime Boss

Meteor Shower and Bombardment shine here — AoE hits both halves after the split. Time your big AoE for just after the 50% split for maximum value.

Collector

AoE cards handle summoned minions naturally. Meteor Shower hits the Collector and all minions simultaneously. Knockout Blow finishes the Collector after AoE softens.

Time Eater

Big single cards like Knockout Blow and Meteor Shower deal massive damage in few plays. Less reliance on many small plays compared to Shiv or Star builds.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this build competitive with Forge and Star Burst?

It's more aggressive but less consistent late-game. Bombardment excels at fast hallway clearing and multi-enemy fights. Against bosses, you may want to supplement with some Forge cards. Consider it a 'fast start' that bridges into Forge.

How do I handle long boss fights?

Bombardment adds Forge passively, so Sovereign Blade scales during the fight. Knockout Blow's Star recovery keeps resources flowing. If fights extend past turn 6-7, the Forge from Bombardment gives Sovereign Blade enough damage to close out.

Should I take every AoE card offered?

No — keep the deck lean. 2-3 AoE cards is enough. Too many clogs the deck with damage but no defense or draw. Balance AoE with Block cards and Star generation for consistency.

Bombardment build vs Star Burst — what's the difference?

Star Burst stockpiles Stars for 4-5 turns, then unleashes a single massive burst. Bombardment deals damage every turn from the start. Star Burst has higher ceiling; Bombardment is faster and more consistent early.

Can I combine Bombardment with Star Burst?

Yes! Bombardment handles hallways and early boss turns while you accumulate Stars. Then Stardust or Seven Stars finishes the boss. It's a natural hybrid where Bombardment bridges the gap during Star Burst's setup phase.
